💬 Join the OpenGate DiscordThe Tollan gate is a reskin of the SG-1 (Basic) gate: same static Milky Way electronics and logic, dressed in a different design.
Its construction is similar to the Pegasus gate, but with a few differences detailed in the steps below — 3D models, LED strips, and firmware.
Tollan uses its own dedicated 3D models — don't reuse the Pegasus or SG-1 STL files, the ring design and mounting points are different.
The core circuit and the PCB are exactly the same as the Pegasus and SG-1 models. However, there are two main differences for this build:
Tollan runs its own firmware build: the DHD (dial-home-device interface) has a different skin from SG-1's, so make sure to select the Tollan firmware — not SG-1 or Atlantis — when flashing your ESP32.
Everything else — wiring, general assembly — follows the exact same steps as the Pegasus gate!
